LIFE: On February 17th I turned 64. I’ve been waiting for that one Beatles song “When I’m 64” to actually apply to me. And I forgot about it: aka “senior moment.” Fortunately all of my friends on Facebook remembered it for me. Thanks to all of you, my friends and fauxs. Life never turns out exactly the way you imagined it would. That’s probably a good thing.
There were a few highlights to my birthday:
A) I found out about a new design project that I am bidding on. Things have been very, very slow and this would be a good fit for me. I’ll let you know.
B) The other exciting event was having the Salvation Army Truck come to pick up those boxes of underwear that were filling up the basement. They were causing disruptions to my feng shui. It was good to have them go to people who can use them. (A few days later another phantom shipment of the same wrong underwear got delivered. I’ll donate these too.)
C) The biggest birthday gift is that Kathy is still doing as well as she is. More about that later.
