MUSIC: This song has a little bit of history to it. I actually wrote it when I lived in Colorado in the 80s and it was called Aurora. I was poking fun at suburbia and Denver in that version. It is almost hard to admit that I was making fun of the place after what they went through with the cinema shooting. But when I moved to Western Mass. I was working for Milton Bradley, the game company in East Longmeadow and the song got rewritten. It became fairly popular on some of the college folk stations as well as a commercial station, WRSI that played my cassette version (bless em). This is a live version that was recorded for a benefit compilation called the Folk Next Door at the University of Hartford.
And this is the version that is on my CD Love on the Line, available on Bandcamp.
If you really have time to waste here is a video of me a few years back.
