Soupeater is Sue Hill and Peter Lehndorff (Sue-Peter, get it?).
They perform country and traditional folk, Tin Pan Alley classics, and original humorous songs on acoustic instruments. Sue teaches ukulele to groups in Connecticut and plays fiddle for community dance bands. Peter plays guitar, uke, and a little banjo. (a very little banjo). They are also members of the Portable Folk Festival and The Uke-Tones of Connecticut, a ukulele band based in Bristol, CT.

We have performed at music venues, coffee houses, libraries, senior living communities, and senior centers. Our shows have included sing-alongs and a show on the history of humorous songs. We have also provided background instrumental music for events. And we have a series on YouTube called Soup and a Song where we sample a soup and sing a song.
From a Librarian: “…I had lots of comments on how wonderful you both were. One patron, in particular, liked the mix of songs you chose to share. We will certainly keep you in mind for future programs. Also, it tends to be difficult to get people out of the house in January for programs, so it’s a testament to you both that patrons wanted to come out in the dark and cold to see you perform.”
